FOR SCHOOLS AND DISTRICTS
A teacher signs in with a school email and creates a class. Every student joins with a code and picks a seat, no name, no password, no account. Progress syncs on its own between any machine a student signs into, and the teacher gets a dashboard for every seat in the room.
A demo class runs free forever and stops at the end of the home row, the same wall a visitor gets on the web build. A licensed class opens the full curriculum, finger pairs through the punctuation and combo stages, at the same 92% accuracy gate that governs every lesson.
Creating a class mints every seat up front, so a student picks from a grid instead of being assigned an identity. Seats get a generated handle, such as Otter 3, never a real name. A teacher can turn on a 4 digit PIN per seat for a shared classroom computer.
No student accounts. No personally identifying data collected, ever. Enforced at the database, not just promised in a policy.
Priced per teacher, not per student, so the cost does not move with enrolment. A licensed teacher gets unlimited classes and unlimited students.

Let's talk
Billed annually in USD. A licence runs through 31 July and activates the moment an order is placed. Purchase orders and tax-exempt orders: support@idleclacker.com
A fixed sequence to plan around: finger pairs, then home row words, then sentences. The class dashboard shows where every seat stands, with a CSV export to hand to a coordinator.
Runs in any current browser, on a Chromebook, laptop or desktop. Nothing to install and nothing to whitelist beyond the site itself. Seats are anonymous handles, not names.
A licence attaches to any teacher signing in from your school's email domain, up to the tier's teacher limit. Quotes and W-9s are handled by email, usually the same day.
The same way we would answer them by email.
No. A student joins with the class code, picks an open seat from a grid, and can set a 4 digit PIN if the class shares one computer.
Only what the dashboard shows a teacher: which seat played, the lesson it reached, its accuracy, its best WPM and its minutes played. No name, no email, no PIN in the clear.
Yes. Sign in as a teacher with a school email and the first class is free for 30 days, up to one class and five seats, no card required.
Yes, and tax-exempt orders too. Both are fields on the order form itself, not a separate request.
By your school's email domain. Once an order is placed, any teacher who signs in with an address at that domain is covered automatically, up to the tier's teacher limit.
Nobody gets locked out mid lesson. A class quietly drops to the same free demo any visitor gets until the licence is renewed, and the teacher is emailed.
A school licence is refundable within 30 days of the invoice. We would rather hear what went wrong, if you have a moment.
